CNC Machinist

Job Type: Full-Time

This person will:​

  • Set up and operate machines to produce precision parts and instruments

  • Fabricate and modify the parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines

  • Apply knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout and machining procedures

Experience Needed:

  • Programming and running Mazak mill-turns as well as Mastercam

  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and G-code

  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, maintenance, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans

  • 5+ years of experience preferred

Electrical Engineer

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience Needed:

  • Preferred 4 year degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering 

  • Preferred experience with AI

  • Experience with one or more of each of the following

    • 2+years working for a custom or OEM machine manufacturer

    • 2+ years programming experience in structured text, TwinCAT and C# (VisualStudio)

    • Matlab/Simulink machine simulations, stability analysis, and control algorithm development

    • Hardware/PCB development experience for high speed sensor data processing

  • Experience with one or more of each of the following:

    • Circuit and PCB development, software/hardware control of electromechanical devices, motion control, Arduinos, robotics, PLCs

    • Components such as: motors, drivers, encoders, contactors, breakers, VFDs, digital and analog I/O

    • Programming languages: C#, Visual basic and Structured Text programming

    • Programming machine control systems- timing signals, machine kinematic modeling, post processing development

This person will:​

  • Maintain and improve existing machine controls

  • Define and develop new machine controls

  • Assure the proper/timely commissioning of new machines

Mechanical Engineer

  • 2+ year experience of designing electro-mechanical systems or similar industry experience

  • Proficiency in 3D CAD design programs

  • Finite Element Analysis

  • Developing qualification test procedures and carrying out those tests

  • Knowledge of mechanical theories, design principles and practices, and design evaluation techniques

  • Proficiency in Mechanical Design for automated machines, including fixtures, grippers, and tooling

  • Preferred machine shop experience with CNC machining, milling, and lathe

  • Preferred experience in MasterCAM
