Weโre looking for a Mechanical & PDME Intern to join our small, highly technical team and help design, integrate, and bring to life next-generation machine systems.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required:
Proficiency in computer aided design software CAD, SolidWorks preferred
Machining experience required
Hands-on experience in designing and building any mechanical and/or electro-mechanical components and/or assemblies
Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology (principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment)
Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics and their application
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
Knowledge of machines and tools (designs, uses, repair, and maintenance)
This person will:
Perform duties in planning, designing & machining tools, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment
Assist with design, installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment
Set up and help operate a variety of machines to produce precision parts and instruments
