Weโre looking for a Electrical Engineering Intern to join our small, highly technical team and help design, integrate, and bring to life next-generation machine systems.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required:
Experience with software/hardware control of electromechanical devices, motion control, PLCs
Knowledge of components such as: motors, drives, contactors, breakers, VFDs
Hands on experience with integrating electrical and control systems
Troubleshooting hardware or software issues
Control panel design and implementation
Preferred:
Knowledge of C#, Visual Basic and Structured Text programming
Knowledge of components such as: encoders, digital and analog I/O
Testing to verify functionality
Developing operations manuals and training guides
This person will:
Support development of complex electromechanical industrial manufacturing
Requires integration of several electrical components with control hardware and software.
Requires integration of various instrumentation and actuation sub-systems.
On-the-job training will be provided as needed.
Please note: This position is part-time and for an indefinite term.
