This person will:​

  • Collaborate with a team to fabricate and integrate mechanical and electrical elements into CNC machines, using hands-on assembly skills, cutting, and machining techniques.

  • Integrate electronic components such as sensors, wiring, and control systems into the machine

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate construction and assembly.

Operations Manager

This person will:​

  • Plan, design, and implement new production lines or work-cells: layout planning, resource allocation, staffing, equipment procurement, and scheduling.

  • Develop detailed project plans for line/cell setups: timelines, milestones, deliverables, risk management, and inter-department coordination (engineering, maintenance, quality, safety, logistics).

  • Oversee day-to-day operation of production lines: manage production leads and production staff; ensure operations meet quality, throughput, and safety targets.

  • Establish and monitor performance KPIs for production: throughput, yield, downtime, labor utilization, scrap/waste rates, cycle times, etc.

  • Prepare, manage, and monitor budgets related to production line builds and ongoing operations: capital investments, operating expenses, labor costs, maintenance, overhead, etc.

  • Manage cash flow for projects and operations: track expenditures vs. budget, forecast cash needs, report variances, and work with leadership on financial planning.

  • Provide regular financial and operational reports to senior management: profitability analysis, ROI on new production cells, cost savings, and continuous improvement recommendations.

  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency: identify bottlenecks, implement process improvements (e.g., Lean, 5S, standard work), and support cost reduction initiatives.
