We’re looking for a Hydraulic Assembly Technician to join our small, highly technical team and help design, integrate, and bring to life next-generation machine systems.
Experience Needed:
1-2 years minimum experience or equivalent with assembling, inspecting, repairing, and testing hydraulic and pneumatic-mechanical components
Knowledge of hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, machinery and tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools as needed
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Strong attention to detail
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
2-5 years’ or more experience building and installing hydraulic lines in complex electromechanical assemblies
1 year+ machining or fabrication experience
AAS in MFG Technology, Industrial Machine Technology or equivalent Technical Certificate preferred
This person will:
Build, crimp, and test hydraulic hose assemblies, as well as performing the build and assembly of hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems
Conduct preliminary visual inspection for damage to components and determine if functional tests are required
Conduct and record preliminary functional testing to assess part capability as required
Measure required parts for conformity to applicable manual or engineering specifications
Conduct and record functional testing for basic to moderately complex components to ensure operation according to specification and sign-off functional test as complete
Assist engineers and other technicians to develop new and more efficient components for machines
May perform machining or fabrication tasks to create and/or repair component parts
Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
