Weโre looking for a Machine Assembly Technician to join our small, highly technical team and help design, integrate, and bring to life next-generation machine systems.
Experience Needed:
1-2 years' experience as a Machine/Mechanical Assembly Technician or similar role
Knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery and tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Proficiency in the use of hand and power tool
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Strong attention to detail
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
2-5+ years' experience in machine/mechanical assembly role
1 year+ machining or fabrication experience
AAS in MFG Technology or Industrial Machine Technology or Technical Certificate preferred
Experience in Machine tool industry, but additional in Aerospace industry is helpful/preferred
This person will:
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports to build machines
Assemble, install, and align components and assemblies using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and templates
Inspect, operate, and test completed products to verify functioning, capabilities, and conformance to specifications
Conduct quality control checks, ensuring the safety and effectiveness of the assembled machine
Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues and implement effective solutions
May perform machining or fabrication tasks to create and/or repair component parts
Maintain detailed documentation of assembly processes and machine maintenance to ensure consistency and longevity of products
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality
Ensure adherence to safety rules and regulations in all work processes
Disassemble machines to replace parts or to prepare machines for shipping
