Fairmount Technologies (FT) is a growing advanced manufacturing company developing tooling-free CNC systems for aerospace and defense applications. Our machines dramatically reduce cost and lead time and are already running on real factory floors.
🚀 Recent milestone: FT was selected for a U.S. Department of Defense APFIT award, accelerating deployment of our systems across multiple Air Force maintenance depots. As production ramps up, we’re expanding our integration and quality team.
We’re looking for a Project Manager to support and drive the execution of engineering and manufacturing projects, ensuring work stays aligned with schedules, priorities, and delivery commitments.
What You’ll Be Working On
You’ll manage day-to-day execution of active projects and work closely with engineering, operations, and leadership to keep things moving forward.
Project Execution (Primary Focus)
Manage project schedules, task tracking, and deliverables across multiple active projects
Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and vendors)
Track progress, identify risks or blockers, and escalate issues as needed
Support scope, schedule, and change tracking to maintain alignment
Communicate project status clearly to stakeholders and leadership
Help drive consistency in project planning and execution practices
Operations & Supply Chain Coordination (Supporting Focus)
Coordinate with procurement and operations to align material availability with project schedules
Track supplier lead times and flag potential impacts to delivery
Support vendor coordination and follow-up as required by project needs
Assist in resolving supply-related issues impacting active projects
Quality & Documentation Support (Supporting Focus)
Ensure project activities align with internal QMS procedures
Support documentation, change tracking, and record-keeping
Assist with audits, corrective actions, and process improvement initiatives related to project execution
Promote good documentation and communication practices across project teams
